If everyone took some time and effort to clean up after themselves, the Earth would be a nicer, cleaner place. If all of us picked up ten pieces of trash everyday, it would make a big difference. The cleaner environment would be beneficial to both the human race and other living things. There would be cleaner streets, less trash, in the wildlife and less harmful trash that can hurt and kill animals.

Just throwing trash away is still not enough. Recycling is not a hard task either. Many people do not know how to recycle especially younger kids. Not long ago, I saw some little kids throwing normal trash into recycling bins and bottles into the trashcan. I believe that everyone, young and old, should be taught more thoroughly on recycling and taking responsibility of all the trash around us.

In order to make a bigger impact, we all must work together and pick up our trash. For example, at school they give detention when we misbehave. Instead of just sitting inside a classroom doing nothing, we should be sent outside picking up trash. Not only will the punishment will be dealt, the campus will be clean as well. In other words, next time when you see trash, pick it up!
