Abstract

The exquisite packaging on products often has a decisive influence on sales.  The more competition in the product market, the more budget in its packaging, but the problem over-packaging may occur.

Over-packaging causes the product to lose its original styles, which not only increase the costs, but also affects the competition and environmental protection. In the waste processing, such practices generated quite a high percentage of waste produced.

To control over-packaging, the regulations are different for each individual country. Some countries place restrictions on the cost for the package; some set restricted provisions on the ratio of the space volume in the packaging; some will check the package, and impose a fine.

In terms of policy, in addition to perfect the relevant laws, we should establish a set of packaging standards and norms, and consider the tax to lead the market, production and consumption behavior, and to strengthen the over-packaging inspection, punishment and reward.

商業包裝設計與過度包裝問題之探討

摘要
商品包裝的精美與否對銷售數量常常有決定性的影響。商品市場競爭愈激烈,業者越會增加包裝上的預算,也因而可能帶來過度包裝的問題。

過度包裝會使商品原貌風味失去,失去真實感,不但增加成本,影響了公平競爭,也帶來環保的問題。在廢棄物處理中,源自於包裝業所產生的廢棄物的比率甚高。

對於過度包裝的管制,各國作法不同。有的對於包裝成本作了限制,有對於包裝容器內的體積空位比率有明確限制之規定,有的是採取檢查包裝,並施以罰款的手段。

在政策上,除了要完善相關法令之外,我們應建立一套包裝的標準規範,並考慮以租稅來引導市場的生產與消費行為,並強化過度包裝的檢查、處罰與獎勵。
