I think that protecting our environment is very important.  Everyone can be more serious and cooperate together to make our environment safe and healthy to future generations.  Take the recent BP oil spill for example, that much oil that has leaked is how much oil we don’t get to use in the future, and all the efforts from the scientists and engineers trying to find a solution for the problem were in vain.  The damage also hurts the business that rely on the oil, and many animals are hurt too.  It also decreases food resources for many creatures because of food poisoning.  Help save the environment will make our lives more comfortable so we won’t have so much bizarre weather changes.
