There are many factors that have degraded the quality of the environment like pollution, global warming, population etc. We should put our concern in all these issues if we want to exist on the earth in the coming future. Pollution is not a new issue. It has reached the optimum level, but still we have not taken any proper steps to bring the level of the pollution down.

　Pollution has given rise to many other problems like global warming. The increased content of carbon dioxide has resulted in heating up of the world that has further resulted in melting of snow from the mountains and glaciers because of which the sea level may rise and coastal areas may submerge.

　Pollution is increasing day-by-day and so are our needs. Demand for food, clothing or shelter is on the rise. The demand for furniture, luxurious items etc. is increasing too. We have been gifted with fresh air, green trees and streams of pure water. Besides this, our earth also contains important minerals, metals, and fuels necessary for the technological growth.

　Our poets, philosophers, and saints have always emphasized that human beings can find happiness only by living in harmony with nature. The damage that has been caused to the ecosystem and biological diversity is impossible to access and to reverse.

　We can save our environment by planting more and more trees. Trees have a very important place in our lives. They purify the air and make environment clean and pure. Many trades depend on the trees. If more and more trees are grown, they will not only purify the environment but also help in bringing the economy of the country on the right track. So today, we need to think smartly and act globally.
