Theme:

 

It has been three years since President Ma rectified the ICCPR & ICESCR, which became domestic laws. Government agencies, scholars, and experts in the human rights field in Taiwan and from abroad are invited to give a general review of Taiwan’s compliance with the ICCPR and ICESCR. Taiwan’s progression of human rights development and experiences of implementing the two Covenants will be reviewed to serve as important references and index for the Human Rights Committee.
