The definition of Earth is the third planet from the sun and fifth largest and densest out of the eight planets in our solar system. However, to me personally, Earth is the mother of nature. In Chinese culture and almost every other culture respecting and caring for our mother is very natural. However, this is not what is going on with the world today.

　The definition of caring is a state of mind in which one is troubled, worry, anxiety, or concern. I think almost everybody understands it because we care every day for our family, friends and those you love. However, why would we not treat our mother of nature the same way? I think people do not understand because they do not realize that if there is no earth then there will not be us. This is like if we did not have our mothers, we will not be born and living today in this wonderful and colorful world.

　Therefore, we should treat the earth the same way as we treat our family, friends, and those we love, to protect it from the damage it has taken from the abuse people had done on it.
