With the hard work of ancestor generations to generations, the life style we enjoy now has become more and more modern and convenient. The rate of industrializing is so fast that our society is far different from even only ten decades ago. People seem to have the power to change the world, because there is no denying that the environment nowadays is not the same our ancestors lived in. Although people make lives more colorful and luxurious, people also do lots of harm to the globe. Without noticing the changes surrounding us, people’s selfish works still continuously proceed. Thus, nature has begun to signal its warning on us. It warns us by lots of natural disasters. Many people lost their properties and lives in such damages. As a result, it is time for us to do something to save the globe before it is too late. To make lives become more convenient, people usually do their best to increase the efficiency of production. But behind the traits which industry brings, there are also more shortcomings. People always destroy the whole ecological environment just for a little benefit. Anytime in the earth natural disasters are occurring. And among all the types of pollutions, global warming has become one of the most serious problems. It has brought about great changes in climate around the world during the past few years. Some places in the world are suffering from drought, while other places are encountering heavy rain. The main reason of global warming is the emission if carbon dioxide, which leads to the temperature rising too quickly. Global warming also causes the sea level rising up. As a result, many Island countries face the danger of losing their countries. Needlessly to say, now is the time we should take action to protect the earth, where we all live. To make the last day of the earth unable to come, we should avoid wasting papers. Deforestation is regarded as one of the chief factors causing global warming. Second, we must also take action to do the 3R, which means “reduce”, “recycle”, and “reuse”. By reducing trash, most pollution will be limited; by recycling something can be reused, we won’t need to search for more resource; and by reusing recycled things, lots of resources can be preserved. Third, we should save energy. For example, we should turn off any electrical appliance after we use immediately. Besides, we had better take public transportation more often rather than drive cars ourselves. But all the above are not enough, we also need to look for some replacing methods to generate energy. By doing so, global warming will relieve slowly. However, the most necessary thing we have to do is change our life style of wasting. In this way, many resources and creatures will be preserved. To sum up, we all should try our best to get through the hard time. By doing so, we can preserve a better living environment for our descendents.
