What We Should Do to Protect the Earth

With the growing of the emission of carbon dioxide, the global warming becomes more serious. The extreme weather happens more and more frequently, such as huge hurricane, flood, forest fire, melting of icebergs, and the rising of the sea level. Our living space becomes smaller than before. Why did these disasters happen? For our pollution is over the limit that the nature can endure.

First, we discharge too much pollution to air. The burning of petroleum gas releases carbon dioxide to air. The carbon dioxide was collected by plants long time ago. They absorbed carbon dioxide and collected the energy from sun. People want to take the energy, but we also release the carbon dioxide back to air.

The carbon dioxide blocks the way that ultraviolet rays radiate to space. Then, the average temperature becomes higher. The extreme weather appears. The area which is very hot becomes hotter, the cold place becomes colder. The place we can live in becomes smaller.

Second, people on the earth always overdo things that we don’t have to pay bills. For example, the pumping of groundwater, mining, lumbering, and hunting. We don’t respect other creatures and nature, just paying attention to what we can earn at the moment, and think it’s as a matter of course. Other creatures live on earth just take what they really need but humans don’t. We are a species of greed, seizing anything if we can. So, the circulation of nature can afford it. In the future, our pollutions can’t be decomposed and we can’t get enough energy to support our industry, commercial, and even living.

To sum up, we should reduce the emission of pollutions, and stop wasting the things in our common daily life. And give back the places that occupied from nature animal. Because of our invasion of other creatures, the amount of other animals becomes too small, and the amount of humans becomes too big, that is to show, the circulation of energy have a block at the link of human, less of income and too much of outgoings. In other words, all creatures use the situated amount of energy in nature except humans, it makes us live in a comfortable life, but if the block of energy break, what will happen?

In our daily life, what can we do to save human’s future? Closing lights, picking up trash and to sort out them are things we can do without extra effort. To give back the ground is also important. We occupied too much land than we need, so allowing them back to the nature can bring a lot of stability to the world. We should also value everything now we have, because all of them come from an industrial wasting, commercial consuming, and the destroying of ecology.

In short, doing the things that can help the earth in our daily life, we can reduce the possibility of the extinction of humans.
