There are many ways for us people to either save or keep on destroying the earth. For example, on destroying the earth:

People litter and pollute natural things like rivers and flatten mountains for farming or buildings. People cut trees to make paper or other products for money. People also hunt endangered animals or overfish. People also bury garbage in the soil and spray unnecessary chemicals on soil to kill insects. People use nonrenewable natural resources for fuel, coal, oil, and natural gas. While burning the nonrenewable natural resources people pollute the air. All the pollutants can build up into thick clouds called smog, which is a mixture of smoke and fog. Smog can cause irritation to the eyes, nose, and throat. Air pollution can make acid rain which is a very powerful chemical that can make a person's hair fall out when it is raining acid rain.

All that may sound very scary, but we humans can actually change those unnecessary things. For example, on saving the earth:

People can stop littering or pollute natural things by throwing trash in garbage cans or reuse, recycle, and reduce trash. We can stop hunting endangered animals or overfish. We can also stop burying garbage in the soil and stop spraying unnecessary chemicals on soil to kill insects. Some of the insects might even be helpful to plants!

Humans can also stop using nonrenewable natural resources for fuel, coal, oil, and natural gas. That way we will not have smog or acid rain! WE CAN SAVE THE EARTH AND THE EARTH WILL BE HAPPY!!!
