I believe that environmental protection is the duty of every single person. Everybody lives on this earth so we all have a duty to protect and maintain this place. Everyone should do what they can and to the best of their ability. It can be something small and everyday like conserving water, reusing reusable water bottles, turning of lights or recycling. In a green society like today there are many opportunities for ordinary people to do their share. Others who want to do more can aim higher and invent a new energy source or find greener solutions to harmful problems.

I believe that by conserving and healing the earth we are healing a part of ourselves because the earth we live on is a part of our identity. By looking at the future and thinking of something bigger than ourselves we can become a better person, Thus protecting and nurturing the earth enhance not only the earth but also our souls and minds.
