The Peace Declaration united the consensus of people form around the world. We hope to put the Declaration into action on a global scale to further peace in the 21st century, The campaign to collect signatures to support eh Peace Declaration is on-going globally, with Taipei as th first stop. We welcome peace loving people all over Taiwan to join in this activity. Not only through written signatures, the campaign to gather signatures via the Internet is also taking place on a large scale.

Elaine Valdov, Chaiman Ex-officio of the Executive Committee of NGOs Affiliated with United Nations DPI, received a copy of the Declaration which contained over 3,000 signatures from an AWC Taiwan representative to present to UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan, representing the voice for peace from the people of Taiwan, and we look forward to a peaceful future for Taiwan and the world through more and more people participating in the campaign.
