Culture of the Five Continents Inspires World Citizens

As Host committee of WCA 2001, the Tai Ji Men Qigong Academy paid careful attention to detail, and did their best to make the participants from afar feel at home. The program "One World of Five Continents" was specially prepared to present the characteristics of each continent. Whether the music, dance, art design, costumes, or stage props, they were produced by Tai Ji Men dizi under Dr. Hong's guidance. Their performance, full of energy and vitality, had no constraints, and was the best reflection of open-minded world citizens.

Africa The African people dance with sincere chants working in rhythm with nature. The dance represents Africa's authentic nature, leading people back to their purest form.

Americas Mother Land breeds all creatures. Thankful to nature, the Indians, with hearts of gratitude and respect, showed concern for others and got along harmoniously with all creatures. They were not greedy, but were willing to share what they had.

Oceania Through lively dance, the friendly islanders are joyfully celebrating a bumper harvest. They express from their hearts, their appreciation to heaven through wonderful music and vivid movements in response to the musical sound of nature.

Europe There is love and joy. With the rapid development of civilization and sufficient material resources, it becomes even more critical to promote human spirituality through various cultural activities.

Asia Inheriting the essence of ancient Eastern wisdom, the ancient dance is to deliver the beauty of Eastern culture. The unity of body and mind enable the dancers to joyfully express the beauty of balance and harmony. Crossing ethnic and national boundaries, it indicates that the spirit of the origin of culture is the same regardless of ethnicity, promoting the idea of one united world.

The program was designed to help people understand the essence of one world, witch tells us that humanity and nature co-exist together. Unity is the beginning of peace, and if all humanity could get along with nature, then people and people, country and country, and continentand continent could also live in peace. When hearts are linked together through cultural activities, there is no distance, and people know how to respect one another and cherish what they have. We came closer to the ideal of "One World" at the first World Citizens Assembly of the 21st century.,
