Children's human rights
Notice that children's rights are the most ignorable issues relative to women's rights, gay rights, etc. It is given that most children are too young to stand up for their inalienable rights. Currently, some children in Mainland China, in India and elsewhere still come to terms with the harshest conditions. Therefore, the course of children's rights shouldn't and couldn't be sidestepped. On the contrary, every adult has the responsibility to voice for these muzzled children and to champion the course of children's human right.
In fact, there is a close relationship between children's happiness and their rights. Children have the right to be respected as an individual, to receive educations, to speak, and to have leeway for development. From the process of acquisition umpteen times, children will gain respect, morality and knowledge. Meanwhile, they will become confident and delighted.
What is so called 'respect'? When grown-ups fully respect children, then they won't physically punish or verbally abuse children. Instead, when children do the wrongs, they need to know where they go wrong. Let children reflect on his past mistakes. Afterwards, adults may comfort them with kind eyes and thoughtful words.
As to the right of speaking, listening to children is crucial. Sometimes, parents are too engaged in their business and demand children to keep their mouths shut. This impatient attitude hurts children's pride to the quick. Thus, parents are supposed to wind down and communicate with children. This approach not only does the trick but also facilitates the parents-children relationship in the meantime.
When referring to the leeway of development, parents should not one-sidedly request their academic performances. For better or for worse, they should cultivate children's minds by their interests, not just focusing on the academic subjects such as English, Math, etc. Likewise, if children are interested in dancing or painting, parents need not to be over-enthusiastic. Kindly Allow children to develop their interests and expertise naturally while enjoy their learning.
Regarding to education aspect, it is essential to reinforce their values by an enlightened approach. Children learn to tell right from wrong and to realize the most significant issue in life whether it is academic achievement or entertainment. Only when knowing their priority, can children arrange their time appropriately. As a result, they won't become gluttons for work who don't appreciate life at all.
When children have confidence, learn to arrange time, and win parents' affirmation, they are definitely able to build up good relationship with others. It is no doubt that they will have happy and informative childhood. After all, a child is the father of the man. Children's human right shouldn't be negligible. Reversely, it cannot be too careful.
