I am a student of Integration Medicine (Western Medicine combined with Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture). We are taught that a good balance of eating, movement and sleeping is the key. And by stimulating acupuncture points with needles we can create positive momentums and support the meridian system.

According to Chinese Medicine, the Shen (the Heart) is influenced by all the other organs and can influence all the other organs. The Heart is the only one that can divine good and bad. Since everything is connected with one another as a system, everything passes the Heart. Therefore all the senses, organs need to be in good balance. So a good balance is actually about the balance of Yin and Yang of the source, and the source is the Heart.

In Tai Ji Men I also learned that not only the balance of eating, movement and sleeping is good enough. A good balance comes from the Heart. Because when the Heart is out of balance, the rest is too.

When I connect this knowledge with human rights, it comes clear that the Heart also regulates the organisation of how people deal with other people. If the Hearts of people are corrupted, human rights are violated. What happens inside, is projected on the outside.

Prevention of people getting hurt, treated badly can be done by balancing the source, the Heart. Everyone is entitled to have human rights and to be healthy (of the Heart). By stimulating positive thinking, movement, speech and health from within we can create positive momentums outside ourselves to support the system we live in together.

Be Happy, be Healthy!
